Manoa Heritage Center

November 9, 3:00pm - 4:00pm
Mānoa Campus, Zoom

The sun has predictable patterns that influence the weather here on Earth. Understanding the sunā€™s position can determine its exposure throughout the year. This activity will help students understand the sunā€™s positioning and exposure throughout the year in their ā€œspacesā€ in order to help them make energy conserving daily decisions, for example; planting, placement of furniture, water use, just to name a few. Using their sense of sight and feel, plus some modern-day technology, participants will begin their kilo journey to strengthen their sense of place. Join the Graduate Student Organization and Manoa Heritage Center November 9th at 3PM for a virtual tour and Kilo activity. RSVP using the link below or email gsoevent@hawaii.edu
