Ross Langston

Ross Langston is an assistant professor of biology at Windward Community College.
His student said, “Being around him, I know I am going to learn something new and that makes me excited to learn.” Another student said, “Ross is, without a doubt, one of the hardest working, committed and enthusiastic instructors I have ever met.”
Langston has been the key player in the creation of the veterinary technology program at Windward Community College. He has brought it from infancy to establishment of the certificate of achievement in veterinary assisting, and finally to the associate in science in veterinary technology degree available today.
The Frances Davis Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching recognizes dedication and demonstrated excellence as teachers of undergraduate students. It was established as a memorial to the late Frances Davis, who taught mathematics at Leeward Community College and 51²è¹Ý Manoa for 19 years.
