For junior faculty establishing research and scholarship through community engagement, this discussion will begin to illuminate how respectful, reciprocal relations can impact on community. And in the process, can and do have the ability to transform the life of a faculty. This event offers a panel of established Manoa scholars who have accepted socially significant roles beyond the campus. They will be sharing their diverse experiences and reflections from different academic disciplines and roles within the community.
