Susan Jaworowski is the program director and assistant professor in the Business, Legal and Technology Education Department at Kapiolani Community College. She teaches various law courses and is the coordinator for the Legal Assisting Program.
Jaworowski creatively uses a full range of resources to get students inspired. She optimizes active, collaborative learning through online technology, social media, presentations, videos, panel discussions and guest speakers.
She has a genuine concern for her student’s academic success and generously shares her expertise in the legal field.
The Frances Davis Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching recognizes dedication and demonstrated excellence as teachers of undergraduate students. It was established as a memorial to the late Frances Davis, who taught mathematics at Leeward Community College and 51²è¹Ý Manoa for 19 years.
