It's All about Great Teaching

“Facilitated ‘shop talk’ is the highest form of professional development,†according to David Gottshall, the co-Father of the 55-year-old Great Teachers Seminar and its permutations of Great Staff, Great College, and Great Leader.

Together, we will engage in facilitated “shop talk,†with the objective of becoming even “better†at what we do in our classrooms. In essence, we are on a never-ending quest for the great teacher we all aspire to be–that version of ourselves who is “very good†at what we do in our classes–the great teacher within each of us. Our focal points are our own teaching and the nature of the great teacher, per se.
