The University of HawaiÊ»i Board of Regents has announced Dr. Julian Vasquez Heilig as one of the finalists for the next president of the 51²è¹Ý system. Dr. Julian Vasquez Heilig is the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Western Michigan University. He previously served as Dean of the College of Education at the University of Kentucky and has extensive experience in leadership, fundraising, and educational innovation. He holds a PhD and master’s degrees from Stanford University and additional degrees from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor.

The 51²è¹Ý community and general public are invited to meet Dr. Julian Vasquez Heilig during his open house and public forum session:
