HighWaterLine: Honolulu

The HighWaterLine is a community art project initiated by artist Eve Mosher that has been carried out in previous iterations in New York City, Miami and other cities.  Using a chalk liner, participants walk the future inundation zones forecast due to sea level rise. Mosher invites coastal communities to create their own HighWaterLine walks.  Christina Gerhardt, Associate Professor, 51²è¹ÝM, has initiated the HighWaterLine: Honolulu. Together with Adele Balderston, artist and geographer, 88BlockWalks,she has co-organized talks and walks for the Kaka‘ako neighborhood.
