Know your Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Rights

March 13, 3:00pm - 4:15pm
Mānoa Campus, Webster Hall Room 103

This workshop is geared towards graduate students but all are welcome.

When you are on the academic job market, it is helpful to know your rights and responsibilities as a job applicant. Ms. Amrita Mallik, program officer with the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, a representative from the 51画鋼 Manoa EEO Office, will provide an overview of applicable federal laws.

She will review the types of personal information that is protected and how to handle questions that may intersect with your rights.

This presentation is geared for those interested in the academic job market; however, the information to be shared is transferable to any job search.
