What is the purpose of a wall? Why do literal and figurative borders exist? How do walls and borders between nations, races, genders, sexualities and even fields of study develop? And how do they get broken down?
We are living in a time when many people have put up figurative borders against those with whom they disagree, and our president seeks to damage discussion even further by strengthen the literal borders of our nation.
This event will discuss these questions and more on borders built and broken from a variety of perspectives.
