Tips & Guidelines for Preparing Conference Posters

A workshop designed to assist faculty in preparing a conference poster or display. Among the subjects to be discussed:

• Physical poster parameters
• Composing and editing content
• Typography, including Hawaiian typography
• Use of color
• Photographs and illustrations, including charts and graphs
• 51²è¹Ý/51²è¹ÝM logos and trademarks

This workshop will also include a review of various computer software for preparing conference posters, helpful hints on how to layout conference posters, considerations for the production of the final product, and sample conference posters. A Question and Answer session will follow the presentation.
