Textbook Costs Got You Down?

February 3, 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Mānoa Campus, Hamilton Library 306

Textbook costs got you down? Let’s talk about it. Many 51²è¹Ý Manoa students know that the amount of money they pay for textbooks can really impact their budget. Students respond in many different ways to the rising costs of textbooks: Some try renting books; Some try borrowing or sharing them; And some students just don’t buy the textbook at all! Want to learn more about textbook costs and ways to promote courses with zero textbook costs? Plan on attending a gathering on Friday, February 3rd at Hamilton Library. Come to Room 306 at 12:00 noon to learn more and to share your ideas. This event is sponsored by the Open Educational Resources (OER) initiative of the 51²è¹ÝM Outreach College, the Associated Students of the University of Hawaii (AS51²è¹Ý), and 51²è¹ÝM Libraries. Treats provided. Please RSVP at oer@hawaii.edu. See you there!
