“Blue Lou†Marini Jr. is known as one of the best jazz musicians to ever grace the music scene. Marini’s illustrious career can be traced back to his original and iconic membership in The Blues Brothers during the 1980s. Before his association with the famous blues gang he was a highly respected member of the Saturday Night Live house band for over 7 years.

Marini’s extraordinary ability to perform numerous genres like classical, jazz, rock and blues, has led him to be one of the most sought after artists in the Big Apple. His mastery of instruments includes the alto, piccolo, flute, clarinet and soprano and he has recorded with such luminaries artist as: The Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Aerosmith, Luther Vandross, Frank Zappa, Steely Dan, Sting and Tina Turner. His collaborations and spectacular performances have earned him multiple platinum records and as he continues his musical journey he shows no signs of slowing down.

Performing for one night only in Hawai‘i, he'll be accompanied by renowned and well-regarded musicians in their own right: guitarist Joe Caro, bassist Bruce Hamada, and drummer Marty Fera.
