"Things Seen": Joseph Stanton Poetry Reading

The public is invited to attend "Things Seen: Joseph Stanton Poetry Ready," that is held on September 11, from 4:30-6Z:00 p.m. in The Art Gallery, 51²è¹İM. Joseph Stanton, a professor of Art History and American Studies at the University of Hawai‘i at MÄÂnoa, reads from his new book of art-inspired poems, just published this year by Brick Road Poetry Press. Stanton will read poems inspired by paintings, fairy tales, and noh plays. Stanton’s new book, Things Seen, was a finalist in a national competition and was published earlier this year by Brick Road Poetry Press.

The poetry reading will take place in The Art Gallery, 51²è¹İM, which currently features "Aesthetic Surplus Kompany Presents . . . "
