The Third Generation (1979) - Dir. Rainer Werner Fassbinder, 130 mins.
This black comedy, written, directed and cinematographed by Rainer Werner Fassbinder, follows an ineffectual cell of underground terrorists who plan to kidnap an industrialist. A critical take and a farce in the style of Godard's La Chinoise (1967).
