Phil Jung will give a presentation in conjunction with "On O'ahu: Two Views." The exhibition, open from March 1 - April 10, 2015 at The Art Gallery at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, features Phil Jung's work "O'ahu" and Joseph Maida's work "New Natives." In his lecture, Phil Jung places his latest body of work, an exploration of the extremely complex social system on the island of O‘ahu, into the historical context and long tradition of photographers who examine the American cultural landscape.
