The 51²è¹Ý Wind Ensemble, Jeffrey Boeckman, conductor, will perform Shostakovich’s Festive Overture, Holst’s Hammersmith, Weill’s Threepennymusik, and Ian Dicke’s Song of the Telegraph (composer Ian Dicke will be in residence).
The 51²è¹Ý Symphony Band, David Blon, conductor, will perform Windsprints by Richard Saucedo, English Dances: Set I, Op. 27 by Malcolm Arnold (arr. Maurice Johnstone), O Magnum Mysterium by Morten Lauridsen, King Cotton by John Phillip Sousa (Daryl Agena, guest conductor), and With Heart and Voice by David R. Gillingham.
