Recipes From Home

Manoa Dining Services is conducting a “Recipes From Home” contest and looking for contestants! This contest offers University of Hawaii at Manoa students, parents, faculty, and staff to submit recipes that they think our campus community will want to eat at our dining locations across campus.

Recipe entries must be submitted no later than Tuesday, March 31st using this form link: http://goo.gl/forms/cmV4pHFFtx or by emailing Andrea.Loudenback@sodexo.com.

At Gateway Café, there are four category options (served April 13th-17th): • Vegan/Vegetarian Entrée • Regular entrée • Soup • Dessert

At the Campus Center Food Court there are three category options (served April 20th-24th): • Entrée • Grill Item (anything served with bread) • Entrée salad

Recipes should include the recipe name, all measured portions, cooking directions, and have ingredients that are not too difficult or expensive to source.

Our chefs will choose the recipes to be added to the menus during the contest weeks at each location. The final winners will be selected from each category at each dining location based on the number of portions served/sold, votes (see our website on how to DTxt a vote), and by our staff reviews.

Manoa Dining Services Dining Dollar gift cards will be awarded for all the winning recipes. Good Luck!
